St. Clair Shores will be putting on the biggest Memorial Day parade in the Midwest! Join our community in honoring those that have served, those that we have lost, and those that are still serving this Memorial Day weekend. The parade began all the way back in 1952 making this the 65th annual parade. The event is community driven as it hosts over 140 different entries including military entries, marching bands, civic groups, local leaders, school groups, and celebrities.

Leading the event this year will be parade Grand Marshal Brig. General John D. Slocum, Commander of the 127th Wing at SANG. The Memorial Day celebrations provide a family-friendly and safe environment for all veterans, their families and St. Clair Shores residents. There is something at this fun event for everyone! “Remembering Our Fallen Heroes” will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the corner of 9 Mile & Jefferson and finishing at 11 Mile Rd.
